How to Use The EverCharge App/Website QR Codes Public Charging

Charging your vehicle at a public EverCharge station is simple. You can initiate a charging session in two ways: through the EverCharge Mobile App or directly via your web browser (no app download required).

Pre-Authorization Hold Notice

When you start a public session, a temporary pre-authorization hold is placed on your payment method. Once your charging session completes, you are billed only for the exact kWh of energy consumed. Locating Your Charger Info & QR Code

Before starting a session, locate the QR code or station code on your charger. Depending on the model, EverCharge stations display this information in two ways:

• Digital Screen Units: Many chargers feature a built-in LCD screen that dynamically displays pricing details (e.g., rate per kWh), a direct scannable QR code, and the web URL for web charging

• Sticker / Printed Label Units: Other units display a printed QR code sticker alongside a 5-digit station code or ID directly on the front panel.

>Option 1: EverCharge Mobile App (Recommended)

1. ) Download and Sign In: After downloading from either the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android), you will be presented to either Sign in with Google (Android) or Sign in with Apple (iOS). At this time, you cannot Sign in with Google if on iOS or Sign in with Apple if on Android. Please ensure to allow camera permissions when prompted to be able to scan QR codes, otherwise you will have to type the code in that you see on the charger's QR scan to charge sticker.

2. ) Plug In Your Vehicle: Before authorizing payment or starting your session, plug the charger into your vehicle's charging port.

3. ) Navigating The App: From the main navigation bar at the bottom, tap Active. Tap the teal Begin Public Charging Session button at the bottom of the screen, as shown below.

4. ) Starting Your Charge: There are two ways initiate a charge

• Scan QR Code: Tap the Scan QR Code button and point your phone camera at the QR code displayed on the charger's screen or front label.
• Enter 5-Digit Code: Manually type in the 5-character station code (e.g., 5COXP) shown on the station.

5. ) Authorize Payment: Select your preferred payment method (Apple Pay (iOS), Google Pay (Android), or Credit/Debit Card), accept the terms, and confirm payment to begin charging.

>Option 2: Website QR Code (No App Download Required)

1. ) Plug In Your Vehicle: Before authorizing payment or starting your session, plug the charger into your vehicle's charging port 
2. ) Starting Your Charge: There are two ways initiate a charge

• Scan QR Code: Tap the Scan QR Code button and point your phone camera at the QR code displayed on the charger's screen or front label.
• Enter 5-Digit Code: Manually type in the 5-character station code (e.g., 5COXP) shown on the station. You can start on the web app directly at https://app.evercharge.com/charge (connectors may show http://evercharge.com/charge as the URL, but this just redirects to https://app.evercharge.com/charge)

3. ) Authorize Payment: Select your preferred payment method (Apple Pay (iOS), Google Pay (Android), or Credit/Debit Card), accept the terms, and confirm payment to begin charging.
