Why do I have a pending charge from Evercharge?
print icon

This is only applicable for customers using our QR charging stations.

The charge you are likely seeing is is a pre-authorization charge from our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe will often pre-authorize your form of payment for 100x the per kWh of charging wherever you are attempting to charge.

So, for example, if the rate at your charging site is $0.20 / kWh, you’ll likely see a pending charge of $20.00. This may appear alongside what you were actually charged by Evercharge for the charging session you just completed.

This pre-authorization is expected to remain active for no more than one week and will automatically be released afterwards. Please note that it is simply a pending charge; we have not yet collected these funds.

Please contact Support if the pending charge remains after one week for further assistance.
