Why isn't my vehicle charging all the way?

If your vehicle stops charging before reaching 100%, it’s usually due to a setting within the vehicle. Here’s what to check:

Vehicle Settings

  • Battery limit: Make sure no “battery limiting” settings are active.

  • Charge limit: Ensure your vehicle isn’t already at its set charge limit.

  • Charge schedule: Disable any scheduled charging that restricts charging to certain times.

  • Charge timer: Turn off any timer that limits how long the vehicle can charge.

  • Charging rate: Confirm the vehicle’s charge rate is set to at least 48A.

  • Fast/super charging mode: Disable these if multiple vehicles are charging on the same electrical panel.

  1. Plug in your vehicle first.

  2. Then scan your card or QR code.

Additional Tips

  • Try charging with the vehicle on and off.

  • Try charging while locked and unlocked.

  • If your vehicle has a digital dashboard, try rebooting it after changing settings (especially on Teslas).

Still Not Charging Fully?
